Seating Audition

RSYO Seating Spring 2023

To better hold students accountable for their music, all string players are requested to submit a video recording of the excerpts below.

All recordings are due by Sunday, April 2, 11:59pm

Instructions

  • Submission should be video recordings, not just audio. The video should include the performer in the frame and have a clear view of the left and right hands.
  • Please say your name and instrument/part at the beginning of video.
  • It’s up to you whether you want to record both excerpts as separate videos or as one.
  • After you record your excerpts, please upload the videos to an online storage platform to share them.
    • Option 1: Upload the videos directly to the form.
    • Option 2: YouTube, Vimeo, or other video sharing platforms. For YouTube, you can upload your videos as public (visible in searches), unlisted (anyone can see it but can’t search for it), or private (share with specific people).
    • Option 3: Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, OneDrive, etc. You will need to create a sharable link for any of these options. Please make sure you remember to give me permission to view the files!
  • After you upload your videos, you should fill out the following Google Form to submit the recordings to me. If you don’t have shareable links to your files, you should share them with me using my email address – ccinquini@readingsymphony.org
    • Please note – I would prefer that you create sharable links to your files (like a Google Drive or Youtube URL) as opposed to sharing them directly with my email address. It will be easier for me to keep track of all of the recordings when I can access them from one submission form
